ABOUT THE COMPANY
Special Metals Corporation, A PCC Company is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team in Dunkirk, NY. SMC has a history of alloy technology now going back some 75 years and continues to provide solutions to difficult materials problems through such time-tested products as our world-recognized INCONEL, INCOLOY, NIMONIC, UDIMET, MONKEL, and NILO alloys. Precision Castparts Corp (PCC), is a worldwide manufacturer of complex metal components and products providing high quality investment castings, forgings, and fastener/fastener systems for critical aerospace and power generation applications.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma/GED required. Trade school certification in a technical or industrial field preferred. Prior experience working in a manufacturing facility is preferred.
SUMMARY
Union position. Starting wage: $24.48 per hour. Individuals will start as Plant Utility and have the immediate opportunity to enter a line of promotion to secure a position as Press Operator or GFM Operator to run our 4,000 ton open die press and rotary forge machine. Candidates must have basic computer skills, math and reading comprehension, and a mechanical aptitude. Individuals must be team players who value safety, quality, productivity, and have the energy and drive to succeed in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Individuals will use a variety of equipment that includes but is not limited to industrial grinders, large reheat furnaces, abrasives saws, overhead cranes, fork lifts and various hand tools.
WAGE & BENEFITS

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
