STANDARD DUTIES:
The Labor Services Representative/Trainee 1/2 duties will include but are not limited to the following:
o assist customers and provide a broad range of services to jobseekers and employers both on an individual basis and through group presentations. o interview customers to evaluate the nature of services desired, obtaining a complete work history including job experience, education, skills, salary ranges and job preferences. o identify barriers to employment and develop solutions to these barriers. o intensive job placement assistance is key through developing skills-based resume, successful employment interview coaching, providing continuing job leads, conducting employment referrals and advocating for the job seeker when applying for a job. o provide information on resources available through the Department of Labor.

Salary Range:
From $46529 to $69882 Annually

Qualifications:
One year of permanent, contingent-permanent or 55 b/c service in a position allocated to a Grade 11 or higher, a passing score on the Labor Services Representative exam and a bachelor's degree . Note:
Candidates must not have failed the most recent examination for this title. Appointments are made at the Trainee 1 level. Your degree must have been awarded by a college or university accredited by a regional, national, or specialized agency recognized as an accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education/U.S. Secretary of Education. If your degree was awarded by an educational institution outside the United States or its territories, you must provide independent verification of equivalency. Hourly LSR's are not eligible for transfer or reassignment. PROVISIONAL
Qualifications:
You must have a Bachelor's degree . The appointed candidate would have to take, pass and be reachable on the next holding of the examination to be appointed permanently. Your degree must have been awarded by a college or university accredited by a regional, national, or specialized agency recognized as an accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education/U.S. Secretary of Education. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
