Maintenance Supervisor at Wells Enteprises Inc. in Dunkirk, NY

The 2nd shift supervisor is responsible for planning and supervising the execution of cost effective and timely maintenance necessary for the operation of equipment and overall production operations. This includes directing, coordinating and supporting maintenance personnel, working with contractors, vendors or company engineering in the modification or installation of equipment, and troubleshooting and resolving new and/or different technical problems regarding equipment. Assures work performed is in compliance with relevant company and legislative food safety and food quality requirements as needed. Qualifications
Experience:
8-10 years previous industrial maintenance experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience with 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience. Knowledge - Thorough knowledge of the occupation hazards and corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of assigned duties at WDI. Knowledge and adherence to WDIs good manufacturing practices (GMPs) Knowledge of basic maintenance techniques including hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical. Skills - Must possess strong interpersonal and time management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Abilities - Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of an organization Must be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. Ability to understand complex written and oral instructions. Able to manage, diffuse and resolve conflict. Ability to lead and manage change.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Plant & Facilities ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
